'Pay as you weigh' for Walsall Manor Hospital

Walsall Manor Hospital’s amount of confidential waste varied from week to week so Shredall provided them with a shredding and payment solution that was right for them. How it works

They currently have 71 120-litre bins and 35 240-litre bins serviced in an on-site vehicle on a weekly basis. Selected hospital staff gather the waste from the secure bins (normally between 20 and 50) and bring it to one central location. Shredall staff will then collect the documents from this location in a purpose built vehicle with a housed shredding facility and destroy the document waste on-site. A fixed rental fee is applied to all bins located at the hospital for the duration of the contract which is invoiced weekly while the hospitals weekly shredding costs vary depending on the amount of documents destroyed.
