Last year SDS’s director Lucy Williams was honoured to be invited to address the joint NAID/PRISM Europe Conference in Athens with her father and MD of Shredall Ltd Lloyd Williams. As a main board member for NAID, Lloyd was asked to speak on ‘Cost Effective ways of diversifying from shredding into record storage’ and by pure coincidence Lucy spoke at the same time on behalf of PRISM International, her talk entitled ‘Scar Tissue, what I learned from past mistakes’.

 

Both talks were extremely well received and Lucy and Lloyd took great satisfaction knowing that by being invited to address a combined audience of 200 delegates attending the conference, both Shredall and SDS are becoming respected within the industry. To that effect, Lloyd is becoming a popular and recognised speaker on this subject as one of the elder statesmen and European pioneers of the industry and he is extremely proud that Lucy is following in his footsteps and is able to address her industry peers as a very knowledgeable young professional.

 

Looking forward SDS director Lucy has been asked to get involved with the PRISM European conference along with other PRISM members. Lucy is active in the trade association and is looking forward to finding speakers and find letch content ready for 2012 European conference in London.
