'Excellent' OHSAS 18001:1999 Occupational Health & Safety Assessment

Throughout 2005 and 2006 Shredall has been working diligently towards OHSAS 18001:1999 accreditation. After an interim audit from NQA in October 2006 Shredall was awarded an 'excellent' and is now working to complete the standard before the official audit in 2007.

Shredall has been constantly upgrading its sites and working towards this highly coveted award. The result of all this hard work will benefit all its clients giving them the reassurance that the sites are managed to the highest standards in health and safety and risk assessment.

Whilst many companies assure their clients that they operate well managed and safe sites, achieving OHSAS 18001:1999 ensures the highest standards. Regular audits by UKAS accredited auditors will ensure that the standards are maintained and that regulations and specifications are adhered to at all times.

Included in the audit will be the checking of electrical records, maintenance agreements, cameras, smoke detectors and fire alarms. On-site the Shredall staff will also be involved in general good housekeeping, coupled with the on-going continuous improvement that the evolving industry constantly demands.

Shredall has again called upon the services of NQA to perform these audits. NQA currently vets Shredall for the ISO9001:2000 Quality Management System accreditation.
