Driving Forth

Local Information Destruction Company Shredall has trained and promoted its fourth HGV driver/operator in 3 years. Shredall is delighted to record that employee Ricky Jarvis has now passed his HGV test  joining new drivers Scott Pickering, Curtis Wright and Gary Jones behind the wheel of Shredall's mobile shredding vehicles.

Over the last 3 years Shredall has trained these drivers internally and Operations Manager Terry Smith is really proud of the fantastic pass rate- "We decided that when we took on young people it was hard to keep them motivated just purely as labourers so we instigated a plan to train operative Scot Pickering as an HGV driver. He was a natural and passed both his theory and practical test first time. This proved to be a huge incentive to his co-workers who could see a more secure future within the business."

Shredall’s Managing Director, Lloyd Williams, commented - "There is a national shortage of HGV drivers which could have proved a problem for us in the future, but these young men have shown such determination to improve themselves that this has now put them and Shredall in the driving seat for the foreseeable future".
