SDS are the Document Storage People, offering safe and secure document storage for business, legal and financial services records in our state of the art archive facilities across the UK.

Document Storage boxes

You can choose to either use your own storage boxes for your documents, or SDS can supply storage boxes to you. SDS document storage boxes are extremely durable and can store all types of files.

Indexing and bar-code tracking for secure documents

If you do not have time to index your documents yourself, we offer a document indexing service. Our friendly, fully vetted staff will provide a full inventory of your documents.

We supply a bar-code, which is scanned and linked to the contents of each box. Our bar-codes allow us to track your documents point-to-point throughout all stages of the transportation, delivery and retrieval process, providing you with a fully auditable trail and ensuring compliance.

Secure offsite document storage

Store documents securely offsite in our archive facilities. All our sites have intruder and fire alarms linked via Red Care to police and fire stations, and CCTV operates 24 hours a day. All visitors are accompanied onsite and all contractors are subject to the SDS contractor management system. We can therefore say that our document storage facilities are as secure as possible against theft and burglary.

Document retrieval & refile

Order files and boxes back by email or via our online ordering system. We collect and deliver documents across the UK to suit your schedule, either same day, next day or within a scheduled service. When you have finished working with a file or box, we will collect and return it to its original location.

UK-wide document collection & delivery

Our customised fleet of vehicles will securely transport documents to and from your offices, right across the UK. All our drivers have been security vetted to BS7858:2004 and are CRB checked. Drivers are trained to transport your records with care and courtesy at all times.
