Shredall SDS Group is pleased to announce that we have once again met the requirements for continued ISO 27001 registration.

ISO 27001 is an internationally recognised standard for information security. By achieving it for another year, Shredall SDS has demonstrated its ongoing commitment to the highest standards of information security.

In passing this assessment, Shredall SDS has been recognised as ensuring that it is doing everything to minimise data protection risks from varied sources, including cybercrime, accidental damage and misuse. The accreditation also ensures our continued compliance with all relevant laws and regulations here in the UK.

In order to pass the ISO 27001 assessment, a business must have a satisfactory information security management system (ISMS) in place. This means that only appropriate people have access to the data that they need. It is also part of a company-wide commitment to the highest levels of security that has been recognised once again.

Sales Director Nik Williams was thrilled with the recent success. He said, “Passing the ISO 27001 accreditation for another year is an incredibly important achievement for Shredall SDS. I am proud of everyone at the company whose hard work has been recognised here.

“As a total information management company, it is essential that our customers can have complete trust in our handling of their documents. Achieving ISO 27001 demonstrates our commitment to security on an internationally recognised level.

“But we won’t stop here. With GDPR fast approaching, we will continue to make sure that we are up to date with every information security regulation. This is something that everyone who works here is totally committed to, and our hard work will continue into 2018 and beyond.”
