Security is Loft Self Storage's highest priority. Our container storage facility and range of services have been designed with security in mind from the very beginning.
Our storage containers are located at our Nottingham site, following the same security protocols as Shredall SDS Group. There will be staff on-site at all times during our opening hours of 6am-6pm. Our staff are security-trained and happy to help with any questions or concerns you might have. Even when our staff aren’t on-site, our self-storage containers have 24-hour CCTV and pre-arranged access can be organised outside of hours.
No unauthorised access
You are the sole key holder for your storage units, which means that no one can get in or out without you physically providing them with access - not even our staff. This strict rule means that the risk of someone gaining access to your unit without your express permission is minimal.
Proof of identification
We will ask for proof of ID when looking to store items from Loft Self Storage.
We require two forms of ID when you come to see us: your driving license or passport, and a utility bill no more than 3 months old that shows proof of your residence.
Trained staff on-site
There will be staff on-site at all times during our opening hours of 6am to 6pm. Our staff are DBS security-trained and always on the lookout for any suspicious behaviour. They will also be happy to help you with any questions or concerns you might have.

24/7 CCTV coverage
Even when our staff aren’t on-site, our storage facility is secure under the watchful lenses of our 24/7 CCTV cameras. These cameras are externally monitored to make sure that nothing is amiss, allowing us to respond to any suspicious activity that might occur throughout the week.
