Shredall SDS Group are continuing supporting local charities this Christmas! We’re pleased to announce that our team is working with local charities such as Nottingham Hospitals Charity and A Christmas Wish to raise money and spread some festive cheer.
Our chairman Lloyd is Santa at Queens Medical Centre!
Our managing chairman Lloyd became Santa for the day, visiting the youngest patients and their families at the Children’s Outpost East at Queen’s Medical Centre. Other members of our team, including Marketing Manager Charlotte Williams and Group Managing Director Nik Williams, helped too by joining Lloyd on the wards, donating and handing out goodies to the children.
This year, a magical grotto has been created especially at the hospital to bring the excitement of Christmas to the children who are spending their festive season there. The grotto, complete with snow, presents and festive decorations, will give the children the opportunity to meet Santa Claus and get into the festive spirit.
This was all in aid of Nottingham Hospitals Charity and the Big Appeal Launch. Their work has an incredible impact on the patient care in Nottingham’s hospitals, each year helping to transform the services and facilities to better support all the patients. We were pleased to be able to come together with businesses like Hillarys, Rolls Royce Motor Cars and the people from Nottingham Rugby to help support this great cause.
All of our support matters! Hospitals don’t close at Christmas time, and it’s important to show we care for patients who are being treated in hospital, as well as the staff that work tirelessly to look after them. Show you care this Christmas by making a donation or taking part in one of the many different fundraising events.
Our support of A Christmas Wish
This year, we’ve also supported a local organisation called A Christmas Wish Nottingham, who provide Christmas presents for underprivileged children in the Midlands area. Last year they wrapped over 1000 presents for children in need!
We helped by donating lots of surplus wrapping paper, so they can wrap the presents in time to give to local schools and families. With all the donations from across the county, there’ll be some very happy children this Christmas!
Getting involved this Christmas time
There are so many ways you can help local charities and raise money for those in need. At Shredall SDS Group, we’re always looking out for ways to help the local community, fundraise and donate, as a part of our corporate social responsibility. Just as we supported NHC last year, we’re getting involved this year and hope to spread even more joy to young people across Nottinghamshire.
