We are proud to announce that two of our apprentices have been shortlisted as finalists for Apprentice of the year award category at the Nottingham Business Awards 2019.
Matt our Apprentice Accounts Administrator and James our Compliance Apprentice have both been shortlisted for the Apprentice of the year award. The winner will be announced during the awards ceremony in September.
The award recognises rising stars of business who have made an outstanding contribution to the organisation they work in. We nominated both Matt and James as we feel they are great assets to both teams and have equally played an instrumental role in the overall development of the business. We feel it’s important to have youthful talent in any business as they bring fresh perspectives and new ideas.
Compliance manager, Carole comments “James has a clear enthusiasm for this role in the business. He is a recognized and valued member of Shredall SDS Group with a calm and measured approach to his role. All the indicators are that he will grow with the business long-term and one day into the management team.”
James comments “I’m delighted to be shortlisted for the Apprentice of the Year award! It will be my first time attending a business awards, so it will be a memorable night whatever the outcome”
Financial Controller, Amy comments “Matt is a bright employee that is keen to please and learn. Matt gets on well with everyone and has adapted very well to his ‘working life’ at Shredall SDS Group. Good luck to both Matt and James.”
Group Sales Director, Nik Williams comments “It’s an absolute pleasure to have two young apprentices in the business starting out in their careers and they both do a great job. Well done to Matt and James, to even be shortlisted is an amazing achievement.”
The business awards gala night brings together many different businesses from across the region to promote the outstanding work that is undertaken every day. We are looking forward to the awards evening and wish Matt and James the best of luck.
