As a nominee of the Midlands Family Business Awards, we are also a finalist in the People’s Choice Awards. We take enormous pride being the UK's largest independently owned total information management business. This nomination is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our employees in delivering exceptional services and products to our customers.
What are the Midlands Family Business Awards?
The Midlands Family Business Awards is an annual event that celebrates and recognises the achievements of family-run businesses in the Midlands region of the United Kingdom.
The awards were established in 2009 and have since become one of the most prestigious events in the region, attracting entries from a wide range of businesses, including manufacturing, retail, hospitality and professional services. The awards recognise and reward the success, innovation, and contribution of family businesses to the local and national economy.
What this means for Shredall SDS Group
In April, we were delighted to join the finalists celebration. Not only did we get to celebrate our success at the 2023 awards, but we also had the opportunity to meet our fellow family business finalists.
We’re incredibly excited to be attending formal interviews for the Sustainability category nominations in May, allowing us to showcase our work in sustainability to the judges. From recently becoming carbon neutral, to taking part in sustainability days across this upcoming year, we have so much to feature at the awards.
The People’s Choice Awards: vote for us!
As a finalist in the 2023 Midlands Family Business Awards, we’ve also been nominated as a finalist in The People’s Choice Award. This award seeks to engage and promote the values and successes of family businesses across the UK.
Unlike the judged categories for the Midlands Family Business Awards, this Award is decided purely by public vote. Voting opens on the 5th June and ends on the 23rd June. Please vote for us by going to the Family Business Awards website, when voting is open! We’d be very grateful for your support.
