The Shredall Group was established in 1997, pioneering on-site shredding across the U.K. Today we are one of the largest, independent, privately owned companies within the market sector.
We have successfully traded with over 5,000 clients nationwide, disposing of confidential data; including paper, uniforms, I.T equipment, hard drives and other magnetic media.
Shredall is a well established, thriving, family run business with Scottish heritage. The company is continuously growing and we now operate a nationwide service from depots in Scotland, Nottingham and London, allowing us to cover the whole of the U.K.
Shredall Scotland is headed by Scotland Confidential Operations Manager Brian McCulloch. He has a reliable friendly team based in Lanarkshire and they service businesses and individuals in Glasgow, Sterling, Falkirk, Livingstone and Edinburgh with vehicles regularly routed into Aberdeen and Dundee amongst all other cities in Central Scotland and everywhere in-between. Shredall Scotland has serviced the whole of Scotland and area's in the north of England.
Brain has worked in the industry for many years pioneering mobile shredding in Scotland, Brian loves working within a family business and has bought his own 2 son’s to work for him!
Brian and his team are all very passionate about what they do, “Our services can be tailor made to suit your data needs, reducing costs, whilst ensuring your business adheres to the Data Protection Act. Our years of experience have enabled our clients to put their trust in us. We are still happily servicing the same customers we started trading with many years ago.”
He continues – “Legally everyone has to destroy their confidential waste and failure to comply can lead to significant penalties of up to £500,000 for serous breaches – we identity theft rife in the U.K and Europe, it is paramount that businesses select the right contractors and do not neglect to dispose of their confidential waste securely!”
Brian works closely with Managing Director of the Shredall Group Lloyd Williams and together their key skills are to see opportunity and make it reality. His team have pioneered the industry sector always making them the leaders in their division. They have a clear goal to keep growing in size through expanding the companies’ range of services. As the company has developed new market sectors from their core business of on-site shredding with off-site document shredding just around the corner, they have complimented that with exploring and creating an IT destruction section including hard drive destruction and x-ray destruction.
The sudden growth of Shredall Scotland means that the confidential waste and recycling company is ever-expanding. They are expecting the delivery of a brand new on-site shredding machine this month, which has a shredding output of 2000kgs per hour in accordance with the European Standard for witnessed shredding at their customer’s doors. The 18 tonne mobile shredding machines are the most up to date on-site shredding machines in the world.
Brian McCulloch comments “With the busy year we have had and each month getting busier and busier from our depot - Glasgow, Edinburgh and surrounding towns, we felt the need for another lorry. This comes just 7 months after we bought a similar vehicle and another van to add to our fleet for the OFF-SITE collection services of materials that are then shredded back at our premises within 24 hours. All of these new additions have brought in new staff extending our happy family."
Shredding on-site or off-site can be made on an adhoc or scheduled basis. Shredall Scotland’s vehicles visit your premises, at a predetermined time, and perform onsite shredding of your confidential paper or remove it to our premises for shredding. The on-site destruction process can be witnessed in the truck if required or for off-site by a member of your staff at our premises and carried out by a specifically trained Shredall Scotland operative.
On completion of either shredding service Shredall will issue a certificate of destruction showing the weight and details of the collection whereupon an invoice is raised and sent to the client.
Our shredding machines are fast, cost effective and environmentally friendly. Operating on less power than previous machines they will greatly reduce emissions and electricity costs, falling in line with Shredall Scotland’s ISO14000 environmental commitments.
