We are delighted to announce that we are opening a new Scotland shredding and recycling depot as part of our rapid expansion. The new 17,000 sq ft depot will see employee numbers double in the region by January 2020 and cement the business’ place as a leading shredding and recycling company in Scotland.
Our new depot will help extend the reach of our shredding, recycling and scanning services to a rapidly growing client base in Scotland. The site will also support our environmental pledge by growing our innovative paper cup recycling service. The depot will also allow us to provide textile, uniform, media and hard drive shredding both onsite and offsite.
Shredall SDS Group has consistently expanded its operations in Scotland since its first depot opened in 2007. This latest investment will see four new hires to operate the machinery, and another 3 new office staff, with the team set to double in size by January 2020.
Nik Williams, Managing Director of Shredall SDS Group
“We’re excited to move into our new Bellshill site and work with more Scottish businesses to securely dispose and recycle their confidential materials. We’ve invested in a new cutting-edge Vecoplan shredder, a Kadent PAAL Pacomat baler and new IT equipment to support our sales and logistics teams. Our Bellshill depot will allow us to reach both Glasgow and Edinburgh more quickly and help cut down our cardon footprint as part of our ongoing efforts to achieve a carbon neutral certification.”
“The staff here are part of Shredall Scotland’s success, and particular credit must go to Brian McCulloch, Shredall Ltd Scotland General Manager, who has consistently explored new opportunities with the help of his hardworking team, including his two sons. We’re excited to see the business continue to innovate and eventually build our first SDS Document Storage and Scanning Depot in Scotland.”
