Recertification for ISO 45001 and ISO 27001, and continued registration for ISO 14001 and ISO 9001
It’s been a busy September and October for Shredall SDS Group! We have successfully completed multiple external audits and continued to demonstrate commitment to our Customers through compliance with internationally recognised ISO Management Systems.
ISO 45001 standardises occupational health and safety (OH&S) management. It provides us with a framework to continually develop and implement safe and healthy workplaces through the prevention of work-related injury and ill-health and improvement of OH&S performance across all activities. Our ISO 45001 also includes our registration under SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement).
ISO 27001 provides a framework for information security management (ISM). It enables us to monitor and review our implemented ISM System, protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Group and Customer information, and supporting our internal and external legal compliance.
ISO 14001 specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system. This standard enables us to continually review the environmental performance of our business, providing an approach for measuring and improving our environmental impact which supports our current carbon neutrality objective. This is vitally important to our Customers mindful of our role in the circular economy.
ISO 9001 addresses various aspects of quality management. We use the standard to demonstrate our ability to consistently provide document management services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. It includes our compliance with the European secure destruction standard (BS EN 15713) and security vetting of staff (BS 7858:2019).
Shredall SDS Group continues to retain year-on-year all four ISO certifications, through annual surveillance audits by NQA, demonstrating our commitment to a risk-based solution for securely handling our customers sensitive information. Whether that data is held on digital files or physical documents, it is Shredall SDS Group’s duty to fully ensure that all reasonable precautions are taken to stop sensitive customer information falling into the wrong hands.
Whilst delivering a range of secure data and document management services, Shredall SDS Group consistently achieves high rankings on Feefo for Customer Satisfaction, whilst maintaining a clear notice history with the ICO, HSE, Environment Agency and Scottish Environmental Protection Agency (SEPA).
Carole Woolhouse, Group Compliance Manager comments,
“We are delighted to have passed all four audits. After the challenges of last year, it’s been great to have auditors back on site. Through decisive leadership and a driven team, Shredall SDS Group continues to perform well at all levels against business and ISO objectives.
I am really pleased with this outcome. It’s a real boost for the business and the compliance team and it’s great to have such a reassuring good news story for our customers.”
