This month, Shredall SDS Group proudly celebrated the successful opening of its new Document Scanning Bureau at Sugar Mill, Leeds — a major milestone in the continued expansion of the Group’s nationwide digitisation capabilities and a clear demonstration of the business’s commitment to growing in size to meet the UK’s rapidly increasing demand for high-volume document scanning.
The new centre went live at the beginning of the month, beginning full operations in secure, high-volume document digitisation. The brand-new bureau now converts physical records into structured, searchable digital files, all securely hosted in Shredall SDS Group’s cloud-based portal, enabling faster, more efficient access to critical information.
The Leeds facility was established with robust quality-control processes, scalable staffing and strict data-handling procedures — supporting organisations across the UK in reducing physical storage needs, modernising document workflows and strengthening long-term information compliance.
A Significant Step for the Group
The launch of the Leeds Document Scanning Bureau represented an important development for Shredall SDS Group’s digitisation services, complementing its existing operations headquartered in Nottingham and supported by nationwide offices and depots in Scotland, London and Birmingham. This expansion — along with the addition of nine new team members joining this arm of the business — reflects the Group’s ongoing growth strategy and creates a scalable model for future service lines and increased document-scanning capacity.

An official celebration was held on 16th March 2026, where colleagues, senior leaders and the new Leeds team — including the nine new team members who have joined this arm of the business — came together for a ribbon-cutting ceremony, lunch and cake to mark the occasion.
