Continued growth at Shredall Scotland has helped the shredding and data destruction firm secure three new national contracts over the last 12 months.
The company has taken on two new HGV drivers and two new admin staff in Scotland to cope with the extra workload in that area.
The contracts – which together are worth more than £100,000 – will see Shredall Scotland provide on-site and off-site paper shredding, data destruction and recycling services to NHS Lanarkshire and a national solicitors and insurance brokers – all of which have offices in Scotland.
Confidential waste manager for Shredall Scotland, Brian McCulloch, said: “We’re really pleased that these clients have chosen to put their trust in us to help them destroy their sensitive documents.
“We’re looking forward to building a good relationship with them, while continuing to maintain those we have with our existing clients. It’s a busy period for us at the moment, but it could soon get even busier if we are successful with another three contract tender bids!”
Lloyd Williams added: “I’m extremely proud of what Shredall has achieved over the last 19 years, we’re now one of the largest independently owned shredding and data destruction companies in the UK. But we’re not one to rest on our laurels; we’re continuing to win new business and are on track for another successful year this year. The Lanarkshire branch grew by 22% last year and with the recruitment of new telesales staff in Scotland we are full steam ahead with ambitious plans for future growth.”
Shredall has recently become the only waste destructor in Scotland to be NAID accredited; the National Association for Information Destruction conducts annual and random audits, which have validated the respect for confidentiality demonstrated by Shredall staff at all times.
