Mark Spencer MP and Shredall SDS Group customers came together on Monday to celebrate the opening of the brand new 60,000sqft secure archive, making space for an additional 100,000 new document storage boxes with the warehouse already half full and new customers joining the SDS family each month.
The day was a huge success and we feel our valued customers who haven’t seen the new facilities got the opportunity to have a tour and see for themselves how much SDS have expanded.
Lloyd Williams, Managing Director, comments “having customers from Nottingham, London, Birmingham and Manchester travel to see the new secure archive meant a lot to us as it proves that our clients want to see the progression here at the Midlands depot.”
National Sales Director, Nik Williams, quotes “It’s still amazing how many customers don’t realise the range of what we do, from Tape Storage to Document Scanning to WEEE recycling. Having an open day allowed us to show everyone exactly what Shredall SDS Group can provide for our customers.” Nik continues “We even set up an on-site shredding lorry to demonstrate confidential shredding on your door step - many customers don’t know how this works.”
A few months ago, Shredall SDS Group pledged a donation towards a local AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) after learning that they are extremely important and save millions of lives a year. Community Heartbeat are working in association with East Midlands Ambulance Service and MP Mark Spencer to ensure defibrillators are positioned in the best possible places with Bestwood Village being identified as an area that would benefit from one.
Working closely with Mark Spencer meant we had the opportunity to ask him to open our brand new SDS Document Storage Depot this week.
Managing Director Lucy Shipley comments “We were thrilled to welcome Mark Spencer MP who officially opened our new archive storage facility. Mark is particularly interested in lowering unemployment rates in his constituency. He was pleased to see our business expanding, creating new jobs in the local area.”
Lucy continues ““The day was a great success. Our customers were very impressed with our recent growth and we even won some new contracts!”
SDS received their 1st confidential archive box 6 years ago and since then they have grown to look after approximately 175,000 confidential document storage boxes and 95,000 deeds. Having our loyal customers and Mark Spencer join us to celebrate this week meant the world to all the team at Shredall SDS Group.
