On Sunday 5th August, Shredall SDS Group will take part in the Dragon boat Challenge at the Riverside festival, Nottingham.
Dragon boat racing is an ancient Chinese tradition and the fastest growing water activity in Britain today. Up to 10 people paddle a 30’ boat steering a straight course to cross the finish line at Trent Bridge. Competing against 50 local companies, ‘Shredall Data Dragons’ aim to raise funds for this fantastic Charity.
It is every parent’s worst nightmare to hear that their child will die before them – but for over 49,000 mums and dads across the UK it’s a nightmare that’s all too real. Rainbows is the only hospice in the East Midlands that provides vital care and support to children with life-limiting illnesses from across the region. The charity also looks after the wider families – mums and dads, brothers, sisters and grandparents – because life shortening illnesses affect everyone.
Shredall SDS Group have taken part in this challenge a few times, getting to the final on one occasion.
It’s a day of reflection, team building, fun and laughter and we can’t wait to take part and you never know even become champions this year.
