The challenge
A national brand within the automotive rental sector required a reliable scheduled shredding solution to manage their confidential waste across its 600+ UK locations. The company needed a service provider that could consistently meet high security standards, as they have customers who need their information protected. Similarly, the company needed to protect their brand and data when it came to their uniforms.
The solution
Shredall SDS Group were chosen as the national brand’s document management partner, to help implement a comprehensive off-site shredding solution. This involved regular, scheduled off-site shredding services across all of their UK locations, providing consistent and timely waste removal. 240L lockable consoles were provided to the vehicle return area of each site, for the temporary storage of any left over confidential waste in vehicles.
All sites received ad-hoc uniform textile shredding, as and when required, as well as management of their information, such as giving them statistics on the confidential waste they’ve recycled so far throughout their partnership.
The result
The vehicle rental company reduced the risk of unauthorised access to confidential customer information, which was an essential part of their service when looking for a document management partner. Their customers' data was fully secure throughout the entire process, protecting from any potential data breaches.
